| I saw two bears in Shenandoah National Park, one not two miles from the entrance, and one not two miles from the exit. The butterflies were out, and trying to mate, and they looked as if they were gravitationally attracted, whilst magnetically repelled. | |

There were a lot of low-lying clouds and some rainstorms during the day, so I wasn't really able to appreciate the vistas, but it was still gorgeous. |

| Shrimpy and Raggs had some discussions about cookies and other treats, but they bonded over a walkies and annoying one of the cats. | |

| Took the doggies into the city to walk around the tidal basin, down the reflecting pool, and to look at the various monuments, including the new World War II memorial. | |

I hadn't seen the Korean War Memorial yet. It's rather spooky, and I imagine it would be terrifying at night. |

| The FDR Memorial is gorgeous, and a wonderful place for walking doggies. Of course, we needed a photo of Shrimpy and Raggs with Fala. | |
