2004 Road Trip, Part 2

July 10-11, 2004

Yellowstone to Provo, Utah (via Grand Teton)

Here's another buffalo, just walking down the road without a care in the world. Some idiots had gotten out of their cars to take photos, but the buffalo kept winding among the cars, sometimes walking in the center of the road, and sometimes on the shoulder, and I saw a guy with a tripod struggle to get himself and his equipment back in the car rather quickly, before this guy got annoyed.

One more massive male elk in Yellowstone for good measure.

Grand Teton National Park is, of course, all about finding good vantage points from which to admire the Tetons. I did see a moose while I was in the park, but it was too far away for photos (much like the bears we saw in Yellowstone).

This waterfall is in Yellowstone, on the way to Grand Teton.
You can't go too wrong taking pictures of the Grand Tetons, can you?

Some sheep on the road outside of Jackson, Wyoming. Just chillin'.
I had remembered a little town in Utah called Garden Lake as being in a beautiful setting, and that they had some kind of raspberry festival, so I asked AAA to route me through there. They also have drive-on-the-beach access to Bear Lake, where Shrimpy cavorted a bit.

Here he is playing Corgi Got Wet while still in the water.
